Octubre es reconocido como el mes de la lucha contra el cáncer de mama a nivel internacional, por lo que el Gobierno Municipal llevará a cabo varias actividades para concientizar y sensibilizar sobre el tema, se dio a conocer este día en conferencia de prensa.
La presidenta del Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia del Municipio, Rubí Enríquez, informó que una de las actividades es la presentación de la conferencia magistral, la conexión entre las emociones y las enfermedades.
Indicó que se busca fomentar la cultura de la prevención y la autoexploración, ofrecer información clara y accesible sobre factores de riesgo y detección temprana, además de motivar a instituciones a fortalecer sus programas de salud y la sensibilización.
“El evento será el próximo jueves 9 de octubre en el Auditorio Benito Juárez a partir de las 4:00 de la tarde, la ponente será Arlin López, conferencista internacional, psicóloga especialista en el área de salud, desarrollo humano y motivación”, explicó.
Informó que también se van a realizar dos Cruzadas Rosa para tomar más conciencia sobre el tema, invitando a hombres y mujeres a revisarse para evitar el cáncer de mama.
La señora Enríquez comentó que habrá transporte gratuito que saldrá de la Unidad Administrativa Lic. Benito Juárez (presidencia municipal) a los centros comunitarios Kilómetro 27 “José Refugio Sánchez”, Palo Chino, Granjas de Chapultepec y Olivia Espinoza, donde se harán mastografías gratis de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 de la mañana a 3:00 de la tarde.
Por su parte, el director de Centros Comunitarios, Luis Fernando Rodríguez Giner, señaló que los Centros Comunitarios tienen el equipamiento médico que se requiere, así como con el personal médico calificado.
“Las personas que acudan a realizarse la mastografía tienen que ir bañados de preferencia con jabón neutro, usar vestimenta de dos piezas, no aplicar cremas, desodorantes, talco ni perfumes, además el vello axilar debe de ir depilado”, agregó.
La titular de la Coordinación de Atención Ciudadana, María Antonieta Mendoza Mendoza, resaltó que el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, ha sido muy generoso, ya que cuando se detecta en algún Centro Comunitario un caso positivo en los estudios, a través de la Dirección de Salud se tiene una comunicación interinstitucional para que se atiendan a la persona afectada.
“Se han tenido casos donde no se cuenta con servicio médico y la instrucción del alcalde es que se le de seguimiento a través de la Dirección de Salud en hospital de la iniciativa privada para que se otorgue el tratamiento correspondiente gratuito”, dijo.
En la conferencia de prensa estuvieron también Héctor Lara, coordinador médico de Centros Comunitarios; Jonathan Garibo, coordinador general de la Dirección de Salud y Elvira Urrutia, directora del Instituto Municipal de las Mujeres (IMM).
