La consejera jurídica del Ejecutivo Federal, Ernestina Godoy presentó el proyecto de ley para prevenir, investigar y sancionar la extorsión que será enviado al Congreso de la Unión.
Aseveró que se castigará la extorsión con penas de 6 años a 15 años de prisión. Explicó que también se establecen multas que van de 11 mil 314 a 56 mil 570 pesos para quienes cometan este delito.
Ernestina Godoy explicó que las penas están planteadas a 15 años de prisión y se determinará de acuerdo con diversas agradantes, por ejemplo, el cobro de piso o cuando las víctimas son personas grandes o menores de edad, lo realicen desde un centro penitenciario.
