La empresa Populus mx realizó la encuesta sobre la aprobación de los alcaldes de Sinaloa, en donde el presidente municipal de Ahome Gerardo Vargas salió mejor posicionado con el 71.2 por ciento.
La pregunta que se les realizó a 600 ciudadanos de 5 alcaldías fue la siguiente:
¿Aprueba usted el trabajo de su alcalde (sa)?
El segundo lugar lo ocupa Gildardo Leyva con 69.0% de El Fuerte, seguido de Estrella Palacios de Mazatlán 66.8%, posteriormente Jorge Bojórquez don el 66.5% del PRI y finalmente Juan de Dios Gámez de Culiacán con el 49.8 por ciento.
