La diputada María Antonieta Pérez Reyes, integrante del Grupo Parlamentario de Morena, anunció avances significativos en el caso de Carlos Daniel Rodríguez Sáenz, el joven estudiante que perdió la vista debido a una negligencia escolar. Gracias a sus gestiones, el Gobierno del Estado brindará atención médica vitalicia al joven, quien había quedado desprotegido al egresar del sistema educativo.
“A partir de la próxima semana, Carlos Daniel será inscrito en el sistema de salud estatal. Además, gestionaremos su ingreso, junto con el de su madre, a un sistema que le garantice atención médica integral, acorde con su condición de invidente, incluyendo apoyo psicológico”, informó la legisladora, tras sostener una reunión directa con el secretario general de Gobierno, Santiago de la Peña.
Asimismo, Pérez Reyes subrayó que se buscará formalizar legalmente esta obligación para que la atención médica a favor de Carlos Daniel esté garantizada de forma vitalicia, sin importar los cambios en la administración estatal.
Carlos Daniel Rodríguez Sáenz, egresado del CECyTECH del poblado de Flores Magón, quedó ciego tras participar en una práctica de laboratorio fuera del plantel, la cual fue autorizada irresponsablemente por autoridades escolares. La diputada ha denunciado que, pese a su esfuerzo y a concluir exitosamente su carrera técnica en junio pasado, el CECyTECH le retiró la atención médica al egresar, dejándolo en una situación de total vulnerabilidad.
Ante esto, se ha iniciado un proceso a través de la Comisión Ejecutiva de Atención a Víctimas del Estado, con el objetivo de establecer una responsabilidad legal permanente que asegure su acceso a la salud, sin importar quién encabece el Poder Ejecutivo estatal en el futuro.
“Nunca más debe repetirse un caso así. Es nuestra responsabilidad como representantes del pueblo garantizar que Carlos Daniel reciba justicia y todo el respaldo que necesita para tener una vida digna”, concluyó la diputada María Antonieta Pérez Reyes.
