La gobernadora Maru Campos dio inicio a la entrega de chamarras y tenis de la campaña solidaria “Juntos sin Frío” 2024, que busca abrigar a más de 30 mil niñas, niños y adolescentes en situación de vulnerabilidad en 11 municipios serranos, así como albergues con población indígena y Centros de Asistencia Social en el estado.
Durante el evento realizado en el parque “El Colibrí” de la capital, la mandataria agradeció la solidaridad de los chihuahuenses, al DIF Estatal y a todas las dependencias y funcionarios que con su apoyo en la donación y recolección, ayudan a garantizar que las y los menores de edad de 4 a 16 años no enfrenten el invierno sin protección.
En los tres años de su administración, Maru Campos ha recolectado y distribuido más de 81 mil prendas que son calor para las niñas y niños, para enfrentar esta temporada pero también un gesto de amor con el que pueden sentir que no están solas ni solos, sino que tienen una comunidad que los cuida.
“Cuando se entregan estas chamarras en El Vergel, en El Cuervo, en toda la Sierra Tarahumara, es impresionante la sonrisa que se genera en los niños, que a veces viven a 10 grados bajo cero sin nada que los cubra. Por eso gracias por ayudarnos a recuperar la dignidad de los chihuahuenses, por ayudarnos a recuperar la fe y la esperanza de quien más lo necesita”, enfatizó.
Las primeras chamarras de la campaña “Juntos sin Frío”, fueron entregadas por la Gobernadora junto a la presidenta del DIF Estatal, María Eugenia Galván, a niños del Centro de Asistencia Social “Hogar para ti”.
