La Secretaría de Educación y Deporte (SEyD) informó que personal de Educación Básica recibió una capacitación por parte del Sector Salud, respecto al Protocolo de Identificación Temprana y Atención de Brotes de Sarampión en Centros Educativos y Estancias Infantiles.
El subsecretario de Educación Básica, Lorenzo Arturo Parga Amado, indicó que en la plática informativa participaron alrededor de 35 mil docentes, directivos y administrativos de cerca de cinco mil escuelas de Preescolar, Primaria y Secundaria que operan en Chihuahua.
El taller incluyó las acciones para reconocer casos probables y brindar atención a casos confirmados de la enfermedad en las instituciones.
Como parte de las actividades, se realizará un ejercicio preventivo para detectar a personas que no hayan sido vacunadas, por lo que se solicitará a las madres y padres de familia la cartilla de vacunación de las alumnas y alumnos.
“Si el docente detecta que en su grupo hay algún alumno que no ha recibido una de las dos dosis, se notificará al director y este a su vez hablará con las madres y padres de familia para que lleven al menor al centro de salud más cercano para que reciba la vacuna”, expresó Parga.
La SEyD precisó que no está considerada la suspensión de clases en los planteles de Educación Básica, toda vez que las autoridades en materia de salud han señalado que la gran mayoría de la población está vacunada.
Asimismo, se instó al personal a colaborar en cuanto a la promoción de las campañas de inoculación y a mantenerse informados únicamente a través de canales oficiales.
El Gobierno del Estado reitera su compromiso para garantizar la atención médica oportuna en los 67 municipios.
