Arturo Medina Aguirre, coordinador del Grupo Parlamentario (GP) del PRI, en el Congreso del Estado y presidente de la Comisión de Pueblos y Comunidades Indígenas del legislativo local, reconoció la unidad mostrada por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, y la gobernadora Maru Campos, tras entrega de tierras a comunidades en Mogótavo, Urique.
Medina, quien acudió al evento en su calidad de representante del llamado “Distrito Indígena” y cabeza del órgano del Congreso encargado de desahogar asuntos en materia de pueblos originarios, destacó la importancia de solidificar la coordinación entre todos los niveles de gobierno para acrecentar los esfuerzos que garanticen que las personas integrantes de estas comunidades puedan acceder a sus derechos y tener un desarrollo pleno.
El priista aplaudió la disposición de alcaldes y legisladores de las distintas fuerzas políticas para lograr juntos justicia para los pueblos originarios que históricamente han sido segregados del desarrollo; señaló la importancia del reconocimiento de lo que les corresponde como punto de partida hacia un clima de libertades y empoderamiento.
Dijo, la entrega de tierras que les corresponden es un acto de justicia que abre nuevas ventanas para la dignificación de las condiciones de vida de las familias que luchan todos los días para recibir lo que por derecho es de ellas, y aseveró que cuando el Estado les da prioridad a los pueblos que dieron origen a la nación que somos, se desencadena un ambiente de paz, armonía y esperanza.
El legislador indicó que la disposición de las mandatarias federal y estatal para trabajar en unidad por la protección de las garantías de la población indígena, deja un precedente y una directriz clara de cómo se deben unificar esfuerzos para lograr los grandes objetivos que a las y los mexicanos nos preocupan.
Posterior al evento protocolario, Medina sostuvo un encuentro con representantes populares del ámbito local, así como con otros líderes de la región y el Secretario de Pueblos y Comunidades Indígenas del Estado, Enrique Rascón, y confirmó que existen condiciones y convicción compartida para privilegiar los intereses de la gente por encima de cualquier otro tema.
“En el PRI le apostamos a agendas, acuerdos y acciones que nos permitan fortalecer la identidad, la economía y el acceso a los derechos de los pueblos originarios; para quienes representamos a la población de la sierra, es fundamental que nos mantengamos unidos y que la gente de esta región sea tratada con respeto y se le entreguen resultados permanentemente” manifestó.
Medina reiteró su disposición a llevar al Congreso todas las inquietudes que durante sus recorridos en territorio escucha de la gente, pues considera que el entendimiento debe ser un acto de todos los días, al igual que la determinación de resolver las necesidades y acompañar la visión de vida de las comunidades.
