La diputada local Xóchitl Contreras celebró el pasado domingo 2 de noviembre el tradicional Día de Muertos en compañía de los feligreses vecinos de la Colonia Eréndira, evento encabezado por el Padre Javier Calvillo, así como de vecinos y vecinas del sector, quienes participaron con gran entusiasmo en las diversas actividades organizadas por la legisladora juarense.
Durante el evento se llevó a cabo un concurso de altares de muertos, donde los participantes mostraron su creatividad y amor por nuestras tradiciones mexicanas. La diputada felicitó a todos los concursantes y reconoció el esfuerzo y la dedicación que cada familia puso en sus ofrendas.
Además, como parte de su compromiso con la salud de los juarenses, la diputada Xóchitl Contreras llevó a la comunidad una jornada de vacunación gratuita, acercando estos servicios directamente a los hogares. También se ofrecieron alimentos y espacios de convivencia familiar, fortaleciendo los lazos comunitarios.
“Fue un día muy especial, lleno de tradición, fe y comunidad. Agradezco de corazón a todos los vecinos por abrirnos las puertas de su colonia y celebrar juntos nuestras raíces. Seguiré trabajando por ustedes, por un mejor Juárez, porque yo sí quiero a Juárez, y Juárez cuenta conmigo”, expresó la diputada.
La comunidad agradeció la presencia de la legisladora y reconoció su cercanía y compromiso con las causas ciudadanas, destacando que estos eventos no solo mantienen vivas nuestras tradiciones, sino que también fortalecen el bienestar y la unión social.
