El gobernador de Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, confirmó que la empresa Volvo, invertirá 1 billón de dólares en Nuevo León. El anunció fue hecho en sus redes sociales.
Durante su gira de trabajo por Europa, el mandatario visitó la sede de Volvo Trucks en Gotemburgo, Suecia, acompañado del encargado de despacho de la Secretaría de Economía, Emmanuel Loo.
En la reunión con directivos de la compañía y proveedores, Samuel García destacó las ventajas competitivas de Nuevo León, como su ubicación estratégica, conectividad, infraestructura, capital humano y calidad de vida.
Destacó que esta obra que inició en 2024 genera alrededor de 3 mil empleos directos para la parte de la zona norte en Ciénega de Flores, Escobedo y el Valle de Las Salinas.
