El presidente estadunidense, Donald Trump, dijo el lunes que viajará a China a principios del próximo año y que espera cerrar un acuerdo comercial con su homólogo Xi Jinping este mes, a pesar de una reciente disputa sobre aranceles.
“He sido invitado a ir a China, y lo haré en algún momento a principios del próximo año. Lo tenemos más o menos planeado”, dijo Trump a los periodistas al recibir al primer ministro australiano Anthony Albanese en la Casa Blanca.
En otro de los cuestionamientos aseguró que la “muy buena” relación comercial con China servirá para evitar conflictos con Taiwán o a Australia. “Creo que vamos a llevarnos muy bien en lo que respecta a Taiwán”, agregó.
