EFE.- La Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) informó que se decomisaron 139 kilogramos de droga, cerca de 62 kilogramos de probable fentanilo y 77 kilogramos de otras sustancias, además de máquinas utilizadas para la producción de narcóticos en Mexicali, Baja California.
En el operativo participaron elementos de la Agencia de Investigación Criminal (AIC), en coordinación con la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC) y la dirección del Ministerio Público Federal (MPF).
Según la FGR, en el lugar se encontraron contenedores y bolsas con las sustancias, además de una máquina mezcladora metálica y una tableteadora.
El inmueble y los materiales asegurados fueron puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público, que continuará con las investigaciones para determinar la responsabilidad de quienes operaban el sitio.
El fentanilo es una sustancia altamente peligrosa y vinculada a la crisis de sobredosis en varios países, en especial en Estados Unidos.
Recientemente, la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, aseguró que el gobierno de México logró la incautación “más grande que se haya hecho” de pastillas de fentanilo en un operativo el pasado 3 de diciembre en el estado de Sinaloa, al confiar en que, con ello, baje la violencia en la entidad.
Según cifras del gobierno, se incautaron cerca de 300 kilos de fentanilo en un domicilio y otros 800 kilos de la misma droga en un vehículo.
Los esfuerzos por combatir el fentanilo se dan a la par de la exigencia de las autoridades estadounidenses, el tiempo del reclamo del Gobierno mexicano por el tráfico de armas para el crimen organizado que ha incrementado la letalidad en la ola de violencia que enfrenta el país.
