El exmandatario de México, Ernesto Zedillo aseguró que “no le apena aceptar la jubilación acordada”, en 143 mil pesos mensuales por parte del Banco de México (Banxico) tras insinuar que el Gobierno de Sheinbaum eliminó al Instituto Nacional de Transparencia (INAI) para ocultar con qué recursos vive el expresidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
En una nueva carta, Zedillo aseguró a la presidenta Sheinbaum que merece recibir su jubilación porque trabajó varios años para el Banxico. “La presidenta me acusa de contar con una pensión de la institución a la que serví muchos años. Ese beneficio fue acordado con posterioridad a mi gobierno”.
Zedillo Ponce de León trabajó en Banxico como analista nueve años, es decir, entre 1978 y 1987, cuando también se desempeñó como subgerente de investigación económica y responsable del extinto Fondo de Intercambio, Cobertura de Riesgos y Confianza (Ficorca).
