En un ambiente familiar y festivo, el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, encabezó el tradicional encendido de luces y del árbol navideño en el Parque Borunda, además realizó una entrega simbólica de juguetes.
El evento reunió a decenas de familias juarenses que disfrutaron de las distintas obras de teatro y villancicos.
El alcalde, quien estuvo acompañado de su esposa la presidenta del DIF Municipal, Rubí Enríquez y su hija Regina, deseó a los asistentes una Feliz Navidad y expresó su esperanza de que el próximo año se cumplan los propósitos personales de cada familia, además deseó vida y salud para todos los juarenses.
En el evento se presentó el ballet del Instituto para la Cultura del Municipio de Juárez (IPACULT), que ofreció una presentación para el público.
Óscar Guevara, director de Regulación Comercial, dirigió un mensaje de buenos deseos a los asistentes.
En el evento estuvieron el secretario del Ayuntamiento, Héctor Rafael Ortiz Orpinel y la magistrada Angélica Mendoza; así como la directora del Centro Municipal de las Artes, Ángela Gastélum, además de Santa Claus y su acompañante Bombocan.
Estos últimos convivieron con las niñas y niños, que aprovecharon el momento para tomarse fotografías y disfrutar del ambiente navideño.
