Dijo que orgullosamente ambos son juarenses y que Ari ahora es campeón del mundo, así como Andrey se quedó con el quinto lugar de estas peleas profesionales; “muchas felicidades, son muy buenos, tienen un talento increíble y estoy seguro que seguirán dando muestra de ello próximamente”.
Por su parte, Ari Bonilla agradeció al Presidente Pérez Cuéllar por el apoyo que siempre les ha brindado a ellos y al deporte en general, pues dijo, es importante saber que no están solos, por lo que ya están listos para los siguientes retos.
“Estamos súper contentos y, aunque fue una pelea difícil, nos preparamos muy bien, así que gracias a nuestro entrenador se dio el resultado que queríamos”, destacó el pugilista.
Respecto a las condiciones actuales del deporte en la ciudad, señaló que en su perspectiva, este ha avanzado mucho gracias al apoyo que en los recientes años se le ha brindado, por ende, se ha reflejado en los buenos resultados para Juárez.
Los peleadores están ranqueados como los mejores 15 del mundo en una lista de entre 2 mil y 3 mil boxeadores de su categoría dentro del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (CMB).
Por su parte, el entrenador, Samir Lozano dijo que esto les ha llevado años de preparación, no obstante, para esta pelea en particular se entrenó tan solo cuatro meses.
“Tenemos pensado en diciembre o a inicios del año volver a defender los cinturones, puesto que deseamos mantener el campeonato y hacer las defensas que se tenga que hacer”, agregó.
