El Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, destacó que la inversión The Home Depot por más de 355 millones de pesos fortalecerá el desarrollo comercial y laboral de la región.
Reiteró que el Gobierno Municipal será un aliado permanente de la iniciativa privada y del Gobierno del Estado para seguir generando bienestar y progreso en Juárez.
Durante el anuncio, Roberto Riva Palacio, gerente Senior de Asuntos Públicos, Comunicación Corporativa y Responsabilidad Social de The Home Depot, explicó que el nuevo establecimiento estará equipado con tecnología de punta y generará un impacto positivo en el empleo local con más de 100 empleos directos, más de 300 empleos adicionales durante la etapa de construcción y más de 700 empleos directos una vez que la tienda esté en operación.
A la conferencia asistieron funcionarios estatales y representantes del corporativo, entre ellos: Ulises Fernández Gamboa, secretario de Innovación y Desarrollo Económico; Jesús García López, subsecretario de Innovación, Competitividad y Desarrollo Empresarial y Guillermo Quintana Chávez, director de Emprendimiento y Desarrollo Empresarial.
