La diputada Alma Portillo Lerma en colaboración con su homólogo Francisco Sánchez presentó un punto de acuerdo en el Congreso del Estado para proteger a las familias chihuahuenses durante el próximo invierno, ya que se considera será uno de los más fríos de los últimos años.
Su propuesta busca garantizar el acceso al gas LP a precios más bajos, priorizando a las comunidades con mayor vulnerabilidad.
De acuerdo con los pronósticos de la Secretaría de Marina (Semar) y la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua), la temporada de invierno 2024-2025 traerá temperaturas extremas, especialmente en estados como Chihuahua, donde los termómetros podrían descender hasta los -15 grados centígrados, advirtió.
Esto, generaría condiciones que representan un riesgo para la salud y la seguridad, sobre todo en en zonas rurales o en comunidades con acceso limitado a servicios de calefacción, afirmó.
Ante este panorama, la legisladora emecista Alma Portillo hizo un llamado a la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público para que aplique estímulos fiscales que permitan reducir el costo del gas LP durante la temporada invernal. Asimismo, exhortó a la Comisión Reguladora de Energía (CRE) a garantizar precios más accesibles para este combustible esencial, vital para la calefacción de miles de hogares.
Portillo destacó que el impacto del frío extremo afecta principalmente a familias trabajadoras y a aquellas en situación de pobreza.
“Es nuestra responsabilidad garantizar que ninguna familia tenga que enfrentarse al frío sin los recursos necesarios. Acciones como estas pueden marcar la diferencia en su bienestar y en su salud”, dijo.
Además, la congresista chihuahuense señaló que las bajas temperaturas no sólo impactan en la vida diaria de las personas, sino que también generan un aumento en los casos de enfermedades respiratorias y saturan los servicios de salud.
Por ello, la implementación de estas medidas serían un paso crucial para prevenir complicaciones mayores durante los meses más fríos del año.
Con esta iniciativa, Alma Portillo reafirma su compromiso de trabajar por las y los ciudadanos de Chihuahua, priorizando acciones que beneficien directamente a quienes más lo necesitan.
Su llamado a las autoridades federales busca que este invierno, las familias puedan estar más seguras y protegidas frente a las inclemencias del clima.
