La lucha en contra de la violencia de las mujeres, cuyo día internacional se conmemora este 25 de noviembre, surgió en la entidad chihuahuense primero que en otros estados, y aquí, actualmente los “derechos de la mujer son clave y letra viva”, afirmó el fiscal general, César Jáuregui Moreno.
Tal declaración la compartió al encabezar el conversatorio “Cerrar las brechas de género: clave para el empoderamiento y la eliminación de la violencia hacia la mujer”, desarrollado este lunes en el marco de la citada efeméride mundial, en la Casa Redonda-Museo Chihuahuense de Arte Contemporáneo.
Jaúregui Moreno destacó que el trabajo conjunto de la Comisión Interinstitucional para la Atención de la Violencia de Género “Juntas por ti”, labor coordinada entre las instituciones CEJUM, FEM, ICHMUJERES y CEAVE, reviste una importancia fundamental, al generar sinergia en el fortalecimiento de los derechos de las mujeres.
Explicó que, de noviembre del 2023 a noviembre 2024, la FEM reporta 17 mil denuncias en el estado, se han iniciado 14 mil 862 investigaciones, casi 1,700 órdenes de aprehensión cumplimentadas, 2 mil 400 personas en flagrancia, 600 sentencias condenatorias y se han atendido más de 28 mil personas.
Además, se han emitido casi 7 mil órdenes y medidas de protección en análisis y atención al riesgo de las mujeres, mismas que fortalecen la lucha que se tiene en Chihuahua por garantizar el ejercicio de sus Derechos Humanos.
En en contexto del Día Internacional para la Erradicación de la Violencia contra las Mujeres, el fiscal admitió que a pesar que los esfuerzos, aún existen brechas salariales y culturales que cerrar para propiciar la inclusión de las mujeres en la vida pública en los diversos ámbitos.
En el evento estuvieron presentes las titulares de FEM, Wendy Chávez Villanueva; de CEJUM, Tatiana Carreón Lara; de CEAVE, Norma Ledezma Ortega; de Ichmujeres, Raquel Bravo Osuna; el Secretario de Seguridad Pública Estatal, Gilberto Loya Chávez; María Trinidad Sáenz Mendoza, madre de Esperanza Manuela Chaparro Sáenz, en representación de víctimas de feminicidio, además de representantes del Tribunal Superior de Justicia y Congreso del Estado.
