El alcalde Marco Bonilla, encabezó la Sesión Plenaria de Instalación del Comité de Planeación para el Desarrollo Municipal (Coplademun) en su edición 2024-2027, el cual busca la elaboración del Plan Municipal de Desarrollo y su Programa Operativo Anual, en el cual se plasmarán las acciones sobre las que trabajará el Gobierno Municipal, durante los próximos 3 años de administración municipal.
En su mensaje, el presidente municipal señaló que la ciudad se desarrolla para su misma gente, y esa es la visión desde la que trabajará esta administración, por lo cual se incorporarán las ideas y propuestas de la ciudadanía en los programas del Gobierno Municipal.
A la par, durante la sesión, compartió algunas de las acciones que se tienen para este periodo de gobierno, donde se destaca el aumento a la seguridad con reforzamiento y dignificación a policías, apoyo a microempresarios, gobierno digital, el centro ambiental, veterinaria municipal, así como tres puentes para mejorar el flujo vehicular, entre otras.
Por su parte, Karla Gabriela Ramos Rodríguez, en representación de la gobernadora Maru Campos, felicitó a quienes forman parte del Coplademun, ya que siguen un mismo objetivo de dar más resultados para Chihuahua capital. También reconoció este comité por seguir los principios democráticos.
Verónica Rodulfo, directora de Planeación e Innovación Gubernamental, señaló que se encuentran reunidas 155 personas representantes de la sociedad civil, sector académico, privado y gobierno, para trabajar por los objetivos de hacer de Chihuahua una ciudad más competitiva, todo basado en los cinco ejes rectores y uno transversal que son:

- MÁS SEGURIDAD, paz y tranquilidad para tu familia.
- MÁS INGRESO y prosperidad para todas y todos.
- MÁS CALIDAD DE VIDA para ti y tu familia.
- Ciudad MÁS funcional: infraestructura, medio ambiente y sustentabilidad.
- GOBIERNO que escucha y resuelve: transparente, eficaz y eficiente.
Eje transversal:
- Equidad de género y familia
A su vez, Vero Rodulfo compartió el diagnóstico del desarrollo de la ciudad en los últimos años, donde se destacan las acciones de seguridad y competitividad, donde uno de los más grandes resultados fue posicionar a Chihuahua Capital como la sexta ciudad más competitiva a nivel nacional.
