La Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua realizó la entrega de un cheque por concepto de donativo recaudado por personal docente, administrativo y comunidad estudiantil, en el marco de la Colecta Nacional de la Cruz Roja Mexicana 2025, con un monto total de 234 mil 532 pesos.
En su mensaje, el maestro Luis Alfonso Rivera Campos, rector de la UACH, expresó que esta aportación representa el esfuerzo conjunto del personal universitario, una muestra de voluntad y compromiso social para reconocer la labor que realiza la Cruz Roja Mexicana en beneficio de la sociedad.
Rivera Campos destacó que la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua mantiene un firme compromiso con la formación integral de su comunidad, mediante el impulso de valores como la solidaridad, la empatía y el servicio a los demás. “Nuestra institución no solo busca la excelencia académica, sino también formar ciudadanos conscientes y participativos que contribuyan al bienestar común”, subrayó.
Por su parte, el delegado estatal de la Cruz Roja Mexicana en Chihuahua, Óscar Armando Corral Pérez, agradeció la participación de la máxima casa de estudios, al destacar su colaboración con las causas humanitarias.
Para concluir el acto, la Cruz Roja Mexicana entregó a la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua el “Distintivo Diamante”, un reconocimiento institucional que se otorgó como muestra de agradecimiento por el apoyo económico, la confianza depositada y la constante colaboración en los programas y servicios de la institución, que se traducen en proyectos de alto impacto social.
Cabe resaltar que durante la entrega se contó con la presencia del L.A.E. Alberto Espino Dickens, Director Administrativo de la UACH; el C.P Luis Carlos Aguilera González, Coordinador General Estatal de Cruz Roja Mexicana; Ing. Juan Manuel Talamás Rohana, Secretario del Consejo Directivo Estatal; Lic. Mauricio Ruíz Lozano, Tesorero del Consejo Directivo Estatal; el director administrativo de Cruz Roja Mexicana delegación Chihuahua, Tomás Herrera Villanueva, así como titulares de las diferentes coordinaciones de Cruz Roja.
