Como parte de la estrategia coordinada “Juntos por la Sierra Tarahumara”, el DIF Estatal, la Secretaría de Pueblos y Comunidades Indígenas (SPyCI), y el Ayuntamiento de Carichí, entregaron 12 toneladas de apoyo alimentario a 600 familias.
Habitantes de 20 comunidades de la región serrana se vieron beneficiados con esta iniciativa que tiene como objetivo erradicar los estragos alimentarios de la sequía, así como garantizar que la comida no falte en los hogares de las comunidades de la Sierra.
En el evento estuvieron presentes el alcalde de Carichí, Alex Gutiérrez; los gobernadores indígenas Manuel Batista y Felipe Ignacio González; el comisario ejidal, Jesús José Rodríguez; y el comisario de policía, Benito Agustín.
Funcionarios de las dependencias participantes acordaron mantener el trabajo conjunto para atender las necesidades prioritarias de los habitantes de la Sierra Tarahumara.
