La Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado (SSPE), a través de la Subsecretaría de Movilidad, desplegó un operativo de apoyo ciudadano tras la intensa caída de lluvias en Chihuahua, el cual consiste en recorridos preventivos permanentes, atención a usuarios, control de cruceros y reforzamiento táctico, esto tras un incremento aproximado de 35.6 y 37.4 mm de agua acumulada en las calles y avenidas.
Hasta el corte estadístico a las 8:00 de la mañana del 2 de julio, la Policía Vial registró cero incidencias relacionadas directamente por las lluvias, sin embargo, el trabajo preventivo continúa.
Asimismo, Movilidad exhortó a la ciudadanía a mantener la precaución al momento de conducir para evitar accidentes, ya que en zonas como el Periférico de la Juventud, a la altura de la Facultad de Medicina, la avenida Equus al sur de la ciudad o en vialidad Sacramento, se formaron grandes encharcamientos que representan un riesgo latente.
Además, la SSPE emitió las siguientes recomendaciones:
- Modera la velocidad y aumenta la distancia entre vehículo
- Frena suavemente y evita maniobras bruscas
- Enciende las luces bajas para mejorar visibilidad
- Revisa tu vehículo: llantas, frenos y limpiaparabrisas
- No cruces zonas inundadas
- Respeta señalizaciones y atiende indicaciones oficiales
- Sal con tiempo suficiente para evitar prisas
- Evita distracciones, como el uso del celular al conducir
- Reporta riesgos o emergencias al 9-1-1
Estas acciones son realizadas con la finalidad de mantener la seguridad vial e integridad de la ciudadanía, la Policía del Estado reafirma su compromiso para brindar un servicio de seguridad pública eficiente y empático en el estado.
