Luego de que la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum anunciara este martes que enviará al Congreso una iniciativa de reforma electoral, el coordinador del Grupo Parlamentario del PAN en el Senado, Ricardo Anaya Cortés, advirtió que dicha propuesta tiene como objetivo someter al Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) al control del Gobierno federal y reinstaurar un régimen autoritario en México.
“Nos parece gravísimo que el gobierno esté anunciando una Reforma Electoral. El objetivo de fondo es el control total del país. Ya tomaron el Legislativo y el Judicial; ahora quieren ir por el árbitro electoral”, declaró el senador panista en entrevista, previo al arranque de la sesión del periodo extraordinario.
Anaya sostuvo que esta intención representa un retroceso histórico hacia las prácticas del viejo régimen priista. “Quieren regresar a los años 80, cuando el gobierno organizaba y manipulaba las elecciones. Eso es inaceptable”, sentenció.
