En un esfuerzo por consolidar la educación superior de calidad y fortalecer la relación entre el gobierno y la academia, el alcalde de Chihuahua, Marco Bonilla, firmó un convenio de colaboración entre el Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua y la Universidad Tecnológica de Ciudad Juárez (UTCJ), para que los estudiantes puedan realizar prácticas profesionales dentro del gobierno.
Este acuerdo les brindará la oportunidad de adquirir experiencia práctica y facilitar su acceso al mercado laboral, como parte de una estrategia más amplia, que busca reforzar la educación y la capacitación de las y los jóvenes chihuahuenses.
“Queremos que Chihuahua cuente con una fuerza laboral preparada, no solo con mano de obra, sino con mente de obra”, señaló el alcalde Bonilla.
Resaltó que la suma de convenios como el firmado con la UTCJ, son parte de una política pública integral que busca asegurar que las empresas estratégicas sigan llegando a la región y que haya profesionistas capacitados para ocupar los empleos generados.
Por su parte, el rector de la UTCJ, Carlos Ernesto Ortiz Villegas, destacó que este convenio es un paso más en el compromiso de impulsar la formación profesional y bienestar de las juventudes, ya que se brindarán herramientas que puedan ingresar a las áreas profesionales, formarlos con una visión amplia, para que puedan enfrentar los retos actuales del mundo.
A su vez, Carlos Ortiz agradeció a Marco Bonilla por esta iniciativa y su constante preocupación por el desarrollo de los universitarios, además por esa colaboración que se tiene juntos, sociedad y gobierno, academia y sector privado, ya que con este convenio no solo se beneficia a estudiantes, sino también a las instituciones con el intercambio de proyectos e ideas.
Al finalizar, el alcalde Marco Bonilla ofreció una plática a la comunidad estudiantil de la UTCJ, como parte del programa “Alcalde en tu Universidad”, para exponerles algunos de los programas y acciones del Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua, que se han implementado para mejorar la calidad de vida de las familias.
