El Gobierno Municipal que encabeza el alcalde Marco Bonilla, firmó un convenio de colaboración con el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia (UNICEF), para consolidar acciones conjuntas que garanticen el cumplimiento de los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes.
La presidenta del DIF Municipal, Karina Olivas, destacó que en Chihuahua Capital se trabaja por estos de derechos, por ello se han retirado a más de 5 mil infantes de la calle con el programa “La calle no es su lugar”, o el programa “Yo Si Te Creo” en atención de casos de abuso infantil, prevención de riesgos de la adolescencia, en prevención de drogas, embarazos adolescentes, entre otras.
Por su parte, el representante adjunto de UNICEF en Chihuahua, señaló: “estamos muy emocionados, porque el trabajo que realiza el Gobierno Municipal es muy innovador con diversas políticas públicas que están implementando y que benefician a niñas, niños y adolescentes, y estas acciones podemos potenciarlas con esta colaboración”.
Asimismo, el secretario del Ayuntamiento, Roberto Fuentes y el director de Seguridad Pública Municipal, Julio Salas, coincidieron en el compromiso desde el gobierno en construir una sociedad donde la niñez y la juventud puedan desarrollarse en un entorno seguro, equitativo y lleno de oportunidades.
Beneficios del convenio:
- Acceso a recursos y financiamiento para proyectos en favor de la infancia.
- Capacitación y asesoramiento técnico en políticas públicas.
- Fortalecimiento de programas de atención psicológica, nutrición y protección social a través de instancias municipales como el DIF y SIPINNA.
- Impulso de acciones para prevenir la violencia y promover entornos seguros y saludables para los niños y adolescentes del municipio.
A la firma del convenio asistió la secretaria ejecutiva del SIPINNA, Ana Imelda Jurado, quien agregó que alianza será clave para garantizar un mejor futuro para las generaciones más jóvenes.
