El celular de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum fue hackeado poco después del traslado de los 29 líderes del narcotráfico a Estados Unidos, reveló el New York Times en un artículo publicado el 14 de marzo.
De acuerdo con el medio estadounidense, varias personas con conocimiento del hackeo corroboraron la información, sin embargo, al preguntar a un portavoz de la Presidencia, declinó hacer comentarios al respecto.
En ese mismo artículo, la periodista Natalie Kitroeff, quien también participó en el reportaje sobre la producción casera de fentanilo, afirma que la mandataria se ganó el “respeto a regañadientes” de su homólogo estadounidense Donald Trump en el marco de la guerra comercial por la imposición de aranceles tras tomar fuertes medidas en contra del crimen organizado.
Y calificó como la más drástica el traslado, que Estados Unidos maneja como una expulsión, de 29 narcotraficantes al país vecino en febrero para que estos enfrentaran cargos criminales.
“Esta acción representó un golpe colosal para los grupos criminales y envió un mensaje claro de que Sheinbaum está decidida a combatirlos”, se lee en el artículo.
Las medidas impuestas por Sheinbaum llevó a que el estadounidense le dijera “eres dura” a Sheinbaum en algún momento de la llamada que sostuvieron ambos mandatarios, de acuerdo con cuatro personas relacionadas con la conversación.
Estas declaraciones de la presidenta contrastan con el discurso de Trump contra las mujeres, mientras que a Sheinbaum la ha calificado como “una mujer maravillosa” y se ha jactado de que tiene una buena relación con ella.
En la última llamada que tuvieron los mandatarios, la mexicana le habría presentado las acciones para cuidar la frontera y evitar el paso de fentanilo, antes le había enviado los datos al estadounidense y argumentó que los aranceles afectaría este nivel de cooperación.
Ante esto, según fuentes del diario, Trump se habría quedado en silencio por un rato, después elogió a Sheinbaum y luego se abalanzó contra Canadá.
