El Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua, a través del Instituto de Cultura, invita a toda la comunidad a disfrutar del Desfile de Catrinas “El Regreso de las Ánimas”, evento principal del Festival de Día de Muertos 2025, este domingo 2 de noviembre a partir de las 6:00 pm en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad.
El desfile reunirá a comparsas, academias de danza, agrupaciones culturales, entre otros, que rendirá tributo a los cuatro elementos del Mictlán: fuego, agua, tierra y aire.
El contingente partirá desde la intersección de las calles 20 de Noviembre y Venustiano Carranza, avanzará por la avenida Aldama concluyendo en Plaza de Armas, donde continuarán las actividades del festival “El Regreso de las Ánimas”.
A partir de las 4:30 de la tarde se realizarán cierres viales en las calles laterales de la avenida incluyendo: Ignacio Ramírez, Escuadrón 201, Emilio Carranza, Mariano Jiménez, Francisco Xavier Mina, Nicolás Bravo, De la Llave, José Esteban Coronado, Santos Degollado, Ignacio Allende, Antonio Rosales y Vicente Guerrero.
Una vez concluido el desfile en Aldama e Independencia, se dará inicio a la reapertura de las calles y a las actividades nocturnas en Plaza de Armas, donde las y los asistentes podrán disfrutar del Puente de las Ánimas, el túnel de cempasúchil, un cráneo monumental como altar urbano, entre muchas otras actividades.
El Instituto de Cultura exhorta a las familias chihuahuenses a asistir con anticipación para encontrar un buen lugar y disfrutar el desfile de manera cómoda y segura. Asimismo, se emiten las siguientes recomendaciones:
- Mantenerse en las zonas designadas para el público y evitar ingresar al paso del desfile.
- Seguir las indicaciones del personal de seguridad y respetar las barreras instaladas.
- Cuidar a menores de edad y personas mayores, manteniéndolos siempre a la vista.
- Llevar agua o hidratación y protegerse del sol o de las bajas temperaturas.
El Festival de Día de Muertos “El Regreso de las Ánimas” continuará con actividades hasta el 3 de noviembre en Plaza de Armas y hasta el 7 de noviembre en el Museo Sebastián.
