Con el objetivo de ayudar a mantener una comunidad limpia, vivir en espacios mejores y evitar problemas de salud, este viernes inició la Tercera Cruzada por el Reciclaje en el Parque Palmillo, de la colonia El Mezquital, evento que puso en marcha el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar.
En el inicio de la cruzada, que organiza la Dirección General de Ecología, se invitó a la comunidad para que llevara basura electrónica, aceite de automóviles y de cocina, pilas y otros desechos que los camiones recolectores de basura no recogen, pero que al reunirlos en este evento serán llevados a un lugar adecuado.
El alcalde comentó que el objetivo de este tipo de eventos es mantener limpia la ciudad, pero también hacer una correcta disposición de ese tipo de desperdicios y que no dañen el medio ambiente.
Reconoció a los vecinos del lugar y al promovente de este evento, el señor Bernardo Muñoz, por solicitar esta actividad, ya que con el trabajo conjunto entre comunidad y Gobierno se logra tener una ciudad mejor.
En esta Cruzada participaron, niñas, niños y adultos para mantener limpias las calles, el parque y las casas, donde el Municipio, así como empresarios locales también trabajaron para retirar los diferentes desechos.
El director de Ecología, César Rene Díaz Gutiérrez, dijo que durante este viernes y mañana sábado estarán recibiendo desechos como son aceite comestible, aceite de motor, llantas en desuso, medicamento caduco, pintura, focos fluorescentes, pilas alcalinas, papel y cartón entre otro tipo de basura.
La Dirección de Ecología se encargará de llevarse todo esto y darles su disposición adecuada para así cuidar el medio ambiente.
Este servicio continuará hoy viernes hasta las 17:00 horas y mañana sábado desde las 09:00 hasta las 17:00.
El vecino y promovente del evento, Bernardo Muñoz, agradeció al Gobierno Municipal, ya que escucharon a los vecinos quienes solicitaron el apoyo para mejorar su sector, pero sobre todo al Presidente Municipal, Pérez Cuéllar por llegar al lugar, escuchar a los colonos y tomarlos en cuenta.
En este evento se contó con la participación del Diputado Federal, Alejandro Pérez Cuéllar; el secretario de Seguridad Pública, César Omar Muñoz Morales; el director de Participación Ciudadana, Sebastián Aguilera Brenes y el director de Limpia, Gibran Solís Kanahan.
Durante el arranque de esta cruzada, el Presidente entregó reconocimientos a empresas privadas, a la Dirección de Educación y a la Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento, así como la Dirección de Limpia por su participación en este tipo de actividades en las que queda demostrado que para ayudar a la comunidad siempre se trabajará de manera coordinada.
