El alcalde Marco Bonilla, inauguró la rehabilitación de la alberca del Colegio de Bachilleres (COBACH), obra realizada gracias a la participación de la comunidad dentro de Presupuesto Participativo edición 2024, proyecto que fue el más votado de la edición con un total de 11 mil 680 votos.
Con una inversión de 5.4 millones de pesos para beneficio de 6 mil usuarios, y contó con trabajos en el retiro de cerámica en malas condiciones, reparación de losas, muros, reparación de desagüe de agua, pintura, colocación de escalera tipo aluminio y plataforma, además de la reparación de cuatro bombas y tuberías, nuevos calentadores y reparaciones eléctricas.
En su mensaje, el Alcalde destacó que la inauguración de esta alberca es una apuesta por el futuro de cada estudiante, donde podrán practicar deporte, y esto es una iniciación para próximos nadadores de categoría.
A su vez, el edil comentó que la alberca duró siete años cerrada, misma que contaba con filtraciones, así como grietas severas en paredes y piso, por lo que, gracias al Presupuesto Participativo, ahora podrán practicar que esta institución puedes ser semillero de talentos destacables.
A su vez, Humberto de las Casas Muñoz, director general del COBACH, destacó la importancia de la alianza que se ha tenido con el Gobierno del Estado y Municipio, ya que son quienes han apoyado en la dignificación de infraestructura en las escuelas.
