Tras el cierre de la frontera a la exportación de ganado, el presidente de la Unión Ganadera Regional de Chihuahua, Álvaro Bustillos Fuentes, lo calificó como injusto. Lo anterior sucedió luego de que se detectó un nuevo caso de gusano barrenador en Veracruz.
En la rueda de prensa, el presidente de la Unión Ganadera, aseguró que la secretaria de Agricultura de Estados Unidos está mal asesorada, argumentando que varios congresistas se oponían a la reapertura de la frontera.
Bustillos aseveró que ayer por la tarde se les notificó la medida tomadas por Estados Unidos, argumentando que ya estaban listos y coordinados para reabrir los puertos de Palomas-Columbus y, posteriormente, San Jerónimo-Santa Teresa.
