El Gobierno Municipal, a través de la Coordinación de Medio Ambiente y Protección Animal, invita a las familias de la Capital a la jornada de adopciones “Adopta como Héroe”, este 16 de agosto de 10:00 a 14:00 horas, en el Parque El Reliz.
El objetivo es promover la tenencia responsable y la adopción de animales de compañía. Para ello, la dependencia, en conjunto con asociaciones, colectivos y rescatistas independientes, pondrá a disposición perros de diversas características, incluyendo aquellos rescatados por estas instancias.
Entre ellos está Pinto, un perro mestizo de tamaño grande, rescatado por la Coordinación en junio pasado en Riberas de Sacramento. Pinto tiene mucha energía y será entregado vacunado, desparasitado y esterilizado.
Tampico, un mestizo de tamaño mediano que fue abandonado en un terreno baldío de la colonia Sierra Azul y rescatado por la Brigada de Rescate Animal. Tampico busca un hogar donde reciba amor, cuidados y estabilidad.
La coordinadora de Medio Ambiente y Protección Animal, Rocío Reza, mencionó que se impulsan este tipo de acciones para fomentar la tenencia responsable y el cuidado de las mascotas en la Capital.
Finalmente, la dependencia recuerda que la adopción responsable es un compromiso para toda la vida, ya que las mascotas requieren atención veterinaria, alimentación, refugio, ejercicio diario, tiempo de calidad, cariño y respeto.
