El diputado de Morena Pedro Torres Estrada junto con maestras y maestros así como representantes de la Sección 42 del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación (SNTE) y Fundación Ciudadana Integral encabezaron el lanzamiento del festival navideño “sumando sonrisas”, en beneficio a niñas y niños con cáncer, de casas hogares y escasos recursos.
El festival se llevara acabó el próximo martes 3 de diciembre a las 7:00 pm y tendrá como sede el Auditorio Municipal de la Ciudad de Chihuahua, donde se presentaran actos artísticos y una obra de teatro, y tendrá como costo de entrada un juguete no bélico y/o alimento no perecedero.
Así mismo la colecta de juguetes y alimentos se realizará hasta el 14 de diciembre, con el objetivo de entregar lo donado a más tardar el 19 de diciembre.
Los puntos de acopio para los juguetes y alimentos se encuentran ubicados en las siguientes escuelas: Secundaria Estatal 3059, Secundaria Estatal 3001, Secundaria Estatal 3005, Secundaria Estatal 3020, y la preparatoria Maestros Mexicanos 8423
En su intervención Pedro Torres destacó la necesidad de buscar un mejor mundo y ambiente para las niñas y niños y así dejen de enfrentar dificultades; ya que en muchos de los casos no son apoyados en sus casas e incluso a veces de desde las escuelas.
Por lo que aplaudió el compromiso de las y los maestros así como de sus escuelas y padres de familia para participar en esta iniciativa por lo que se comprometió en seguir apoyando en este tipo de actividades.
Héctor Mauricio Islas, director del programa “sumando sonrisas” de la Fundación Ciudadana Integral abundó en que esta iniciativa se realiza desde 1997 con el deseo abrir una gran puerta a la esperanza en las niñas, niños y adolescentes (NNA); con el deseo de ayudar a sobrellevar una mejor calidad de vida.
En el evento estuvieron presentes también los maestros Raymundo Chacón y Jesús Roberto Medina en representación de Manuel Quiroz Carbajal, Secretario General de la Sección 42, Así como los directores de las secundarias y preparatorias que apoyan la iniciativa.
