El primer ministro de Canadá, Justin Trudeau, se despidió de los canadienses con un corto video de tientes patrióticos que colgó en las redes sociales pocas horas antes de que abandone este viernes el cargo.
En su mensaje titulado “Una última cosa“, Trudeau expresa su satisfacción de haber sido primer ministro de Canadá desde finales de 2015.
“Estoy orgulloso de haber servido un país lleno de gente que defienden lo que es correcto, están a la altura en todo momento y siempre se apoyan mutuamente cuando más importa”, señaló.
“Este puede ser mi último día aquí en esta oficina, pero siempre seré canadiense con valentía y sin pedir disculpas. Lo único que pido es que, sin importar lo que pase, no cambien”, concluyó el mandatario canadiense en su alocución a sus connacionales.
Trudeau dejará el viernes el puesto de primer ministro que asumirá el nuevo líder del gobernante Partido Liberal, el economista Mark Carney.
