Antes de finalizar este año se abrirá una licitación para adquirir 40 camiones de pasajeros para integrarlos al Sistema BTR de la ciudad de Chihuahua, informó el secretario general del Gobierno del Estado de Chihuahua, Santiago De la Peña Grajeda, en el marco de su comparecencia ante el Congreso local.
El funcionario estatal se reunió con la Comisión de Obras, Servicios Públicos, Desarrollo y Movilidad Urbana, que integran diputadas y diputados chihuahuenses, para exponer los avances gubernamentales en materia de transporte público para la entidad, en respuesta a las demandas ciudadanas sobre las deficiencias del servicio.
De la Peña expuso los obstáculos que enfrentó la Secretaría General de Gobierno (Segegob) para atender este rubro, sobre todo en las ciudades de Chihuahua y Juárez, pues tan solo en este último municipio, hacía 40 años que no había “acciones de gobierno”, detalló.
Enumeró que las 104 unidades nuevas y climatizadas, incorporadas al Juárez Bus, permitieron reducir de 30 a 7 minutos el tiempo de espera en la línea 2, que va sobre la avenida Tecnológico, y que brinda 35 mil viajes diarios, con servicio de Wi-Fi en las estaciones, y se integraron 4 rutas alimentadoras al esquema.
Para la capital -agregó-, en 1 año y 10 meses que lleva al frente de la Segegob, la Dirección de Movilidad logró activar el 100% de los camiones para el BOWÍ, que se encontraban fuera de servicio, se redujo el tiempo de espera de 7 a 4 minutos para los 30 mil pasajeras y pasajeros diarios, y se anexó una ruta de la Terminal Norte a la UACH Campus II.
“Hubo un diálogo abierto, muy franco, mucha receptividad de los diputados. Creo que algunas de las expresiones, o incluso la motivación del exhorto que es el lo que me trae hoy aquí, que hizo la diputada Rentería, tenía que ver, probablemente con falta de información o con algunos datos diferentes”, expresó en entrevista posterior a la reunión.
Enfatizó que su comparecencia sirvió como “una gran oportunidad”, para mostrar el trabajo que se ha hecho hasta el momento: “los resultados ahí están, están basados en datos duros, hay avances sustanciales, hay un gran tramo de trabajo por hacer, pero el resultado es que estamos caminando en el sentido correcto”.
Respecto a las críticas del coordinador del Grupo Parlamentario de Morena, Cuauhtémoc Estrada Sotelo, quien comentó que el secretario “reprobó”, dijo que “él siempre como dice una cosa, dice otra, el apoyo de los diputados morenistas estuvo e incluso se ofrecieron a colaborar con Gobierno”.
“Debió haber venido a la comparecencia para ver lo que estábamos haciendo, o mejor que le pregunte a sus compañeros”, comentó.
Admitió que existen alrededor de 88 concesiones en posibilidad de cancelarse, por no cumplir los términos, pero no sería inmediato, toda vez que están en proceso de análisis.
Recalcó que no habrá alza en la tarifas de transporte público, ya que se hizo un ajuste en abril del año anterior: “eso (la versión) es una vacilada”.
Con relación a las nuevas 40 unidades que proyectan licitar para el BOWÍ de la ciudad de Chihuahua, precisó que si bien es un reto para antes de concluir 2024, de parte de la administración, el Estado tiene las condiciones para recibirlo en abril de 2025, en el mejor de los casos.
“Pero primero, tenemos que concursarlos. Para Juárez, las 104 son suficientes para la 1, 2, y 3”, acotó el titular de la Segegob.
