Para el beneficio a familias del Municipio de López, el Senador del PAN por el estado de Chihuahua, Mario Vázquez Robles entregó apoyos alimentarios y cobijas, acompañado por la alcaldesa Dalila Maldonado.
Vázquez destacó que los apoyos fueron gestionados ante Gobierno del Estado, y fue posible su entrega gracias a la colaboración de la Gobernadora Maru Campos, quien los facilitó, consciente de las dificultades que atraviesan estas comunidades ante la sequía que se vive en Chihuahua.
Ante esta situación recordó que está comprometido con llevar los problemas y las necesidades del estado al centro del país, porque allá no conocen lo que aquí se vive y es su trabajo estar al pendiente y siempre ver por el bien de todos los chihuahuenses.
Denunció que a pesar de la grave situación por la que atraviesan los productores y campesinos a causa de la sequía histórica, el gobierno federal no ha querido atender, no se ha dado por aludido, a tal grado que en el Plan Nacional Hídrico, dado a conocer hace algunos días, Chihuahua no está incluído para recibir inversión para obras que ayuden a mitigar los estragos de la falta de agua.
Por todo esto, la presidenta municipal reconoció en el senador a una persona que ha estado siempre presente y de quien siempre han recibido apoyo, conocedor de la vida y las actividades de la gente de López; agradeció también a la gobernadora por todo su trabajo hecho en beneficio de la población.
