La Secretaría de Marina (Semar) reportó el fallecimiento del capitán Adrián Omar del Ángel Zúñiga, en un presunto accidente durante una práctica de tiro real en Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.
El reporte del deceso del comandante ocurre un día después de que el capitán de navío, Abraham Jeremías Pérez Ramírez, se quitara la vida en su oficina.
Del Ángel Zúñiga estuvo encargado del puerto de Manzanillo, y según información de Héctor de Mauelón, dejó el cargo tras un “acuerdo” al que había llegado con Rafael Marín Mollinedo, entonces titular de Aduanas y con el almirante Rafael Ojeda, extitular de la Secretaría de Marina durante el sexenio de Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
