Con motivo del incendio ocurrido en un campamento migrante, ubicado en la Avenida Juan Pablo ll, de la ciudad de Chihuahua, la diputada juarense, María Antonieta Pérez Reyes, llamó al titular de la Secretaría General de Gobierno, a convocar al Consejo Estatal para la Protección y Atención a Migrantes (Coespam), y encontrar soluciones al tema.
“Mientras que el Consejo Estatal para la Protección y Atención a Migrantes no haga su trabajo van a seguir sucediendo lamentables eventos como el del incendio en el campamento improvisado de migrantes en la capital del estado”, destacó.
Pérez Reyes quien es parte del Coespam, destacó que tanto el incidente, como el campamento, “hace constar, primero, que las autoridades relacionadas…de los tres niveles de gobierno no están haciendo bien su trabajo, ya que entre sus quehaceres implica hacer recorridos en las calles”.
Con ello-continuó, el objetivo es detectar este tipo de asentamientos irregulares, y trasladar a las personas en situación de movilidad, a albergues, gimnasios o lugares seguros, donde puedan guarecerse.
“Seguiré insistiendo, por cuarto año consecutivo, que mientras el Consejo Estatal para la Protección y Atención a Migrantes de Chihuahua no haga su trabajo, eventos como este van a seguir sucediendo”, dijo.
Recalcó que la ley dicta que la Coespam debe sesionar por lo menos una vez cada 2 meses, por lo que actualmente, su titular debe convocar a las y los integrantes.
“En esa mesa se tiene la responsabilidad de definir, determinar, y llevar a cabo acciones de implementar políticas y proponer soluciones a todo lo que implica el paso de migrantes, se deben de estar haciendo estudios para entender mejor el fenómeno, y poder hacer diagnósticos más certeros desde este Consejo”, señaló.
Indicó que se requieren convenios público-privados, de los tres niveles de gobierno: “debemos estar resolviendo este tipo de asuntos para que el paso de migrantes por el estado sea menos doloroso, problemático para todos los involucrados”.
