Marath Bolaños, titular de la Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS), anunció que en México se instaurará paulatina y gradualmente la semana laboral de 40 horas por instrucción de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
Durante la conmemoración del Día del Trabajo este 1 de mayo en Palacio Nacional junto a líderes sindicales, Bolaños reconoció a los trabajadores y a las trabajadoras.
Comentó que de manera gradual se reducirá la semana laboral hasta llegar a más tardar, en enero de 2030, a un total de 40 horas semanales: “Atendemos así a una demanda histórica del pueblo de México que fue asumida desde el inicio por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum como un compromiso”.
