Este día, el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, participó en el desfile conmemorativo por el Día del Trabajo, organizado por la Confederación de Trabajadores de México (CTM).
El alcalde expresó su agradecimiento por la invitación al evento que se llevó a cabo por la avenida Insurgentes.
“Desde hace seis años que no habían desfilado, se vivió un buen ambiente, donde se vio gente contenta”, dijo
“Algunas de las peticiones que los trabajadores expresaron, son temas legislativos, ninguna que tuviera que ver con el municipio, la mayoría sobre reformas”, añadió.
En el desfile participaron trabajadores de los diferentes sindicatos, entre ellos de la Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento (JMAS); Convertors de México; Lear, Eagle Ottawa, Bimbo, Trabajadores del Volante, Materialistas de Ciudad Juárez, Sindicato Único de Trabajadores de la Industria de la Carne.
Además, de la Organización vanguardista y representativa de los trabajadores de México; Sindicato Nacional Alimenticio y del Comercio, Similares y Conexos de la República Mexicana; Central de Autobuses; Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua; Lechería Escobar; Industria Harinera; Transporte de Materialistas.
Así como la Union Sindical de Trabajadores de Transporte de Agua Potable; Sindicato de Telefonistas; Sindicato de Radio y Televisión; Gremio de Taxistas; Transporte Público; Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua y Transporte de Agua Potable.
En el evento participó la banda de música del municipio.
Acudieron Jesús José Díaz Monárrez, secretario general de la CTM, así como autoridades municipales y representantes de los diferentes sindicatos.
