En el marco del Día Nacional de Protección Civil, el Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua, a través de la Coordinación Municipal de Protección Civil y el H. Cuerpo de Bomberos y Rescate, llevó a cabo el Simulacro 2025, con la participación de 2 mil 630 personas, entre personal de la administración municipal y población flotante de los 20 edificios del Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua.
Para la correcta ejecución del ejercicio se contó con la colaboración de la Dirección de Seguridad Pública Municipal, el H. Cuerpo de Bomberos y Rescate, la Cruz Roja Mexicana y la Subsecretaría de Movilidad y Transporte del Estado en el perímetro.
El coordinador de Protección Civil Municipal, Iván Rivera, destacó que el objetivo de estos simulacros es que los brigadistas internos de cada edificio se encuentren preparados y capacitados para responder ante una situación de emergencia real, para garantizar la seguridad de los trabajadores municipales y de la ciudadanía que acude a realizar trámites.
Del primer cuadro de la ciudad fueron desalojadas 722 personas en los edificios municipales: Del Real, Eloy S. Vallina, Palacio Municipal, Edificio Libertad y Edificio Casa Creel.
El operativo fue implementado y supervisado por 36 elementos de Protección Civil Municipal, quienes participaron con vehículos de mando y cuatrimotos, además del apoyo del tres unidades de rescate y 12 elementos del H. Cuerpo de Bomberos.
El Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua reafirma su compromiso con la seguridad y la preparación ante emergencias, fomentando una cultura de prevención y protección civil en beneficio de todas y todos.
