La presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, confirmó este viernes que está en pausa la reforma al Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE).
En la conferencia matutina de Palacio Nacional, Sheinbaum Pardo apuntó que dicha reforma estará pausada hasta que se lleven a cabo mesas de trabajo.
“Por lo pronto se pone en pausa en lo que se realizan las mesas de trabajo”, apuntó esta mañana.
Maestros de al menos siete estados se manifestaron esta semana contra la reforma al ISSSTE, la cual propone que solo lo los trabajadores de confianza con altas percepciones aporten un mayor porcentaje para el sistema de salud del ISSSTE, con el objetivo de mejorarlo.
Las protestas se realizaron en Quintana Roo, Estado de México, Guerrero, San Luis Potosí, Colima, Chihuahua y Veracruz.
En la previa, la mandataria mexicana apuntó que no se aprobaría nada que afecte a los trabajadores de la educación.
“Este es un mensaje a las y los maestros de México: no vamos a nada que afecte a los maestros; al contrario, nuestro objetivo es seguir beneficiando a las y los maestros de México. Entonces es muy importante que haya un proceso de información y de trabajo. No vamos a aprobar nada que genere desconfianza o algún problema con las y los maestros”, indicó el jueves.
“No hay necesidad de movilizaciones, no vamos a aprobar nada que ellos perciban que estamos afectando el desarrollo de su vida profesional y laboral”, puntualizó.
