En ese sentido, Marco Bonilla expresó que la implementación del Plan Municipal de Desarrollo, abrirá las puertas a nuevas responsabilidades, y está preparado para enfrentarlas, ya que se trata de un liderazgo que busca resultados concretos, con un enfoque a largo plazo, y con el apoyo constante de las y los chihuahuenses donde los tiempos son complejos y no solo basta ser visionario, sino ser capaz de llevar esa visión a la realidad de manera efectiva, transparente y participativa.
Marco Bonilla reflexionó sobre el verdadero sentido del poder y la responsabilidad de un gobernante, al afirmar que la principal obligación ética de cualquier líder es determinar de manera precisa las necesidades y aspiraciones de las y los ciudadanos para partir de ellas y tenerlas como guía.
La visión es clara, expresó el Alcalde, “construir un Chihuahua donde la paz sea fruto del respeto al orden y la ley, y no del miedo a la delincuencia. Una ciudad que garantice un ambiente propicio para la inversión, protegiendo siempre el fruto del trabajo de sus habitantes”.
El Edil fue enfático al señalar que, en Chihuahua, el estilo de gobernar no está basado en ocurrencias ni en la búsqueda de los aplausos, sino en el trabajo arduo y conjunto de todos los sectores: gobierno, sector privado, academia y sociedad civil; enfoque busca entender las prioridades y necesidades de la población con un manejo eficiente de los recursos.
Además, Bonilla señaló a aquellos políticos que buscan la aprobación momentánea con medidas superficiales, como regalar dinero o eliminar impuestos, sin pensar en soluciones sostenibles a largo plazo que compromete el bienestar de las futuras generaciones.
“Debe señalarse a aquellos irresponsables que ofrecen alivio artificial y temporal con medidas insostenibles como eliminar impuestos o condonar responsabilidades, reduciendo al gobierno a un mero benefactor que regala dinero, supuestamente inagotable, pero sin asentar las bases de un desarrollo sostenible”, sentenció el Edil capitalino.
Afirmó que en los tres primeros años de su gobierno ha alcanzado logros concretos, los cuales pueden ser evaluados por la ciudadanía, no obstante, reconoció que el camino no ha sido fácil y que la etapa que viene exige más de su administración, para lograr hacer de Chihuahua una ciudad moderna, solidaria, segura y con un crecimiento económico sostenible.
Finalmente, el Alcalde remarcó que el Plan Municipal de Desarrollo es solo el primer paso, y que la verdadera prueba será la implementación de los proyectos como: mejorar la infraestructura y la seguridad, para construir una ciudad donde el progreso se logre por el esfuerzo de cada ciudadano y no por dádivas o asistencialismo.
