El Gobierno Municipal, presentó en el Senado de la República las acciones que se han implementado en materia de combate y prevención de la corrupción, durante el Foro: “Facultades y Atribuciones de los Órganos Internos de Control”, organizado por el Senador Francisco Barreda Pavón, presidente de la Comisión de Anticorrupción y Transparencia del Senado de la República, en conjunto con la Asociación Nacional de Profesionistas en el Combate a la Corrupción.
En representación de la administración municipal, la directora del Órgano Interno de Control del Municipio de Chihuahua, Carmen Hidalgo, expuso los avances que distinguen a la capital como referente nacional en materia de transparencia y rendición de cuentas, donde destacó:
• Observador Ciudadano, que impulsa la vigilancia social en los procesos públicos.
• Certificación ISO 37001 Sistema de Gestión Antisoborno, aval internacional para prevenir prácticas indebidas.
• Verificación Patrimonial, que fortalece la confianza ciudadana en el actuar de las y los servidores públicos.
• Jornadas Anticorrupción, espacio de encuentro con expertos de distintos sectores para fomentar la integridad y la transparencia.
• Código de Ética y Conducta, orientado a consolidar principios y valores en la función pública.
• Consejo Municipal Anticorrupción, órgano ciudadano que contribuye a una administración más honesta y cercana.
Además, participaron Salime Lizbeth García Xicoténcatl, titular del Órgano Interno de Control del Municipio de Campeche; Alberto Gándara Ruiz Esparza, integrante del Comité de Participación Ciudadana del Sistema Anticorrupción del Estado de México y Municipios; Esaú Sánchez Pedroza, presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Profesionistas en el Combate a la Corrupción; Rosa Cristina Buendía Soto, contralora general del Estado de Baja California Sur.
Con estas acciones, el Gobierno Municipal de Chihuahua refrenda su compromiso de construir un municipio confiable, transparente y más cercano a la ciudadanía, consolidando políticas que fortalecen la integridad pública y el combate a la corrupción.
