Para mejorar los procedimientos de actuación oportuna y rescate de posibles víctimas en casos de incendio en edificios cerrados de dos niveles o más, el Heroico Cuerpo de Bomberos realizó un mega simulacro en las nuevas instalaciones del Instituto Superior de Seguridad Chihuahua (ISSCUU), donde procedieron a salvaron la vida de dos personas y evacuar a varias docenas, con la ayuda de otras autoridades municipales.
El incendio se originó en el segundo piso de una propiedad, simulada en la torre de entrenamiento que recientemente fue inaugurada, junto con otros edificios dedicados a la profesionalización de las y los bomberos, por el alcalde capitalino Marco Bonilla y el titular de la Dirección de Seguridad Pública, comisario Julio César Salas.
En el evento se encontraban dos personas atrapadas, quienes gracias a la rápida actuación de las y los combatientes del fuego y a la coordinación con otras dependencias, pudieron rescatarlas mientras llegaba una unidad de Cruz Roja que finalmente las trasladó a un nosocomio para ser intervenidas medicamente, además de poner a salvo a 45 hombres y mujeres en cerca de 2 minutos.
El bombero segundo Leonardo Márquez Rascón, dijo que para hacer que todo pareciera idéntico y muy apegado a un hecho de la vida real, de acuerdo a los protocolos que se deben seguir, intervinieron 30 bomberos con 10 unidades, 6 policías con 3 unidades y 10 elementos de Protección Civil con 6 vehículos, así como drones para monitorear todo desde el aire.
“Estos ejercicios nos ayudan a mejorar la forma en que debemos responder en este tipo de incidentes, siempre enfocados en servir y proteger a nuestra comunidad y siguiendo siempre la cadena de mando”, agregó el servidor público.
