El alcalde Marco Bonilla recibió en la Presidencia Municipal a niños y jóvenes deportistas de diferentes equipos representativos de la ciudad, a quienes se les sorprendió con la visita de Eduardo Nájera, chihuahuense ex jugador profesional en la NBA .
El Alcalde les dio un recorrido en la Presidencia Municipal, donde los niños conocieron el Salón 12 de Octubre, Salón de Cabildo y el Despacho del Presidente. Les compartió, el origen de la ciudad y cómo este recinto ha sido un parteaguas importante en la historia del país.
Les detalló que, al chihuahuense se le caracteriza por ser noble, valiente y leal, y la visita de Eduardo Nájera, es para que sepan que lo que se propongan lo pueden lograr.
Por su parte, Eduardo Nájera les compartió su historia y les explicó las características que un jugador debe tener para poder salir adelante: energía, entusiasmo y esfuerzo.
Los equipos que acudieron tuvieron los siguientes resultados en estos eventos:
- Equipo El Aliviane, campeones en el torneo Open Internacional Madrid, España.
- Selección Chihuahuense para la Copa Elite en Monterrey 2025: campeones categoría 2014 y subcampeones en la categoría 2016.
- Representación de Karate Shotokan en el 25 World Karate Tournament con 3º en combate individual y 3º en combate de equipo.
