Como parte de la política de cercanía con los diferentes deportistas chihuahuenses que representan a la ciudad en competencias nacionales e internacionales, el alcalde Marco Bonilla recibió ayer por la tarde en su despacho al marchista Julio César Salazar, quien le compartió la experiencia de su última competencia.
El edil capitalino recibió al marchista en su despacho, para conocer los detalles de su última participación en Tokio, donde lamentablemente el clima no favoreció al chihuahuense, sin embargo, quiso agradecer todo el apoyo brindado por el Gobierno Municipal y el Instituto Municipal de Cultura Física y Deporte, que no lo han soltado de la mano.
Marco Bonilla, escuchó la experiencia del marchista Julio César Salazar y reconoció todo el trabajo que ha hecho como un deportista de alto rendimiento, además de refrendar el compromiso de continuar apoyándolo con miras a los Juegos Olímpicos de Los Ángeles 2028.
Por su parte, Julio César Salazar, externó la experiencia de la última competencia en Tokio, donde el clima no le favoreció por la humedad y el calor que se sintió en esa semana en esa ciudad y que afectó no solo a él, sino a toda la comitiva mexicana que sufrieron golpes de calor y descompensaciones.
Al pasar a temas más alegres, Salazar platicó al alcalde Bonilla que tuvo la oportunidad recientemente de conocer el Polideportivo “Luis H. Álvarez” y quedó sorprendido por la gran cantidad de deportes que ahí se pueden realizar.
Julio César, señaló que no había podido conocer este deportivo y remarcó que la obra es de gran relevancia para fomentar el deporte y justamente el día que fue a conocerlo, pudo observar a decenas de personas haciendo uso de todas las canchas, la pista y las áreas de juegos.
Ante las palabras del marchista, Marco Bonilla expresó que ese ha sido el compromiso que el Gobierno Municipal hizo con los deportistas de Chihuahua, que ahora tienen un espacio digno para practicar deportes e incluso el ráquetbol que hasta hace unos años solo podría jugarse en canchas privadas de clubes deportivos.
