El presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, dijo este lunes en una entrevista telefónica con NBC News que la presidenta encargada de Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, está “cooperando” con las autoridades estadounidenses.
“Tengo la sensación de que está cooperando. Necesitan ayuda. Y tengo la sensación de que (Rodríguez) ama a su país y quiere que su país sobreviva”, afirmó Trump sobre la que era vicepresidenta de Nicolás Maduro antes de su captura el 3 de enero por parte de las fuerzas estadounidenses.
El mandatario agregó que no hubo contacto desde Washington con Rodríguez antes de la operación militar que detuvo a Maduro y a su esposa, Cilia Flores, en su residencia de Caracas, en la que también se bombardearon varios puntos del territorio venezolano.
