El coordinador de los diputados de Morena, Ricardo Monreal Ávila, adelantó recortes en el presupuesto de 2026 a organismos electorales y al Poder Judicial.
Monreal Ávila recordó que en 2026 “no hay elecciones y vamos a ajustarlo más a la baja”.
“Y el INE que no tiene elecciones, vamos a revisarlo porque yo estimo que va a irse a la baja, el año pasado fueron 27 mil millones de pesos, el Instituto plantea ahora una reducción de 4.162%, es decir, 22 mil millones de pesos para 2026, pero creo que vamos a reajustarlo a la baja”, afirmó.
Monreal Ávila subrayó que “no hay elecciones de diputados u otros cargos el año próximo, ni tampoco elección judicial”.
Destacó también el presupuesto solicitado por el Poder Judicial de 15 mil millones de pesos más para el 2026, “no por el ejecutivo federal, porque son organismos autónomos”.
“Esta cantidad fue solicitada por el Poder Judicial cuando estaba la pasada Corte, que está planteando 15 mil millones de pesos más, yo no creo que quede en estos montos, también se va a ajustar a la baja, cuando menos esos 15 mil millones de pesos”, subrayó.
Con base en los escenarios presentados por Monreal Ávila, el Poder Judicial, se mantendría al menos con 70 mil 983 pesos, es decir, con el mismo presupuesto.
El líder de los diputados de Morena comentó que otro de los organismos que ve con posibilidades de sufrir un recorte en su solicitud de presupuesto, es el Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación (TEPJF), “porque tampoco tiene una carga de trabajo pesada el año próximo”.
“No puede ser que planteé, una cantidad de 260 millones de pesos más, no hay justificación, yo creo que el tribunal también va a ir a la baja, incluso menos de los 3 mil 749 millones de pesos que tuvo asignados en 2025”, adelantó.
Monreal aclaró que los escenarios que presentó “son primicias porque corresponderá a las comisiones de Hacienda y Presupuesto dictaminar el presupuesto 2026″.
