La Policía Municipal fortalece en el Distrito León la estrategia Familia Segura, con acciones de proximidad para prevenir y detectar situaciones de violencia familiar.
Mediante acercamientos con habitantes de la zona oriente, policías brindan información para identificar tipos de violencia, señales de riesgo y las alternativas disponibles para solicitar apoyo.
Estas acciones han permitido detectar casos que requieren atención. Recientemente, agentes identificaron a una víctima de violencia familiar, a quien brindaron orientación y acompañamiento para acceder a la atención correspondiente.
La estrategia se complementa con el trabajo de la UAVI, la Subdirección de Prevención y programas como Siempre Acompañadas, para acercar herramientas de protección y atención a las familias.
