El senador de Morena, Adán Augusto López Hernández, quien recientemente fue señalado por mantener presuntos vínculos contra su ex secretario de Seguridad Pública en Tabasco, Hernán Bermúdez, vuelve al centro de controversia tras liderar una reunión de la Junta de Coordinación Política (Jucopo), la cual se realizó este 23 de julio con representantes de diversos grupos parlamentarios.
Cabe aclarar que, el evento fue anunciado previamente a través de un oficio en el que el senador de Morena convocó a la Reunión de Coordinación Política en la sala de juntas de este órgano de gobierno. Aunque desde la oposición no se esperaba su asistencia, se confirmó que sí estuvo presente, lo que encendió la polémica respecto a los temas abordados.
Aunque la reunión fue de índole privada, tras concluir algunos legisladores ofrecieron declaraciones a la prensa sobre lo ocurrido. Entre ellos, Geovanna Bañuelos, del Partido del Trabajo (PT), y Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, diputado del Partido Verde Ecologista de México (PVEM), quienes confirmaron que los coordinadores parlamentarios de la oposición no estuvieron presentes.
