La diputada Carmen Rocío González Alonso, del Grupo Parlamentario del PAN, manifestó su respaldo a una propuesta oficialista encaminada a fomentar programas de expresión artística, oral y musical en las escuelas públicas del país, sin embargo, dijo, “el amor se demuestra con presupuesto”.
La legisladora explicó que la iniciativa promovida en la Comisión de Derechos de la Niñez y la Juventud, de la cual forma parte y que fue presentada originalmente por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, tiene como propósito atender las causas de la violencia que afecta a niñas, niños y adolescentes, mediante el fortalecimiento de actividades de arte, cultura, música y deporte.
González Alonso señaló que este tipo de políticas públicas, que buscan impulsar la cultura de la paz a través de la reconstrucción del tejido social y la atención a las problemáticas de inseguridad desde sus causas -esta vez mediante la reforma al artículo 57 de la Ley General de los Derechos de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes-, contarán con su respaldo, ya que su finalidad es beneficiar a la niñez y a la juventud mexicanas.
“Coincido con los argumentos de la iniciativa, pero el amor se demuestra con el presupuesto, y una gran preocupación es que la propuesta carece de recursos para desarrollarla”, advirtió la legisladora.
“¿Hay suficiencia presupuestaria para llevar a cabo estos programas? La respuesta es que únicamente se contemplan los recursos que serían asignados a las secretarías de Educación Pública y a la de Cultura, pero no existe un presupuesto específico. Se habla de posibles ajustes, pero no hay certeza”, subrayó.
La diputada por Chihuahua destacó que sería lamentable que no se asignaran recursos para una política pública con un fin realmente noble; “no solo porque promueve el arte y el talento de las y los jóvenes, sino porque contribuye a alejarlos de la violencia”.
En este sentido, propuso que la Comisión de Derechos de la Niñez y la Juventud solicite, en el marco de la discusión del Presupuesto de Egresos de la Federación 2026, recursos específicos para poner en marcha esta política en las escuelas públicas. “De no hacerlo, quedaría solo en una buena intención”, enfatizó.
Recordó que las Secretarías de Educación Pública y de Cultura se comprometieron a sumar esfuerzos para conformar los coros estudiantiles, además de dar seguimiento a las actividades culturales y artísticas dentro de la formación académica.
